We’re having SO much fun asking Jesus questions.
Seriously, God was just a concept for SO many years that now finally realizing He loves to engage with us and interact with us, this is actually the new best thing!
Interacting with God about all sorts of things has not only made life so fun, so encouraging and much more bearable, but it’s also made God so much more real… like He’s right here with us!
Sometimes we ask fun and random questions like, “Jesus, why in the world does watermelon have seeds?!” (They’re so time-consuming and annoying when you have a toddler, yo!).
Or sometimes it’s heart desires like, “Jesus, we would love to see another fire truck. That would make our hearts so happy! Would you bring another firetruck?” Yep. This actually keeps happening. Firetrucks, tractors… we see one, we ask Jesus for more cause one of us is so obsessed, and, yes, within minutes we see more! So much fun! And so fun for Judah to see Jesus loving and answering the desires of his heart. J
Sometimes it’s just curious questions like, “Why is it the mama that breastfeeds?” Or “Why does it take both mama’s hands and largely full attention to breastfeed?”
Sometimes it’s more serious questions like, “Judah’s in time out, what does he really need right now?” Or “What does he need to hear?” The things I’ve been hearing Jesus say are so smart, wise and spot on. Go figure!
His answers astound me. They are way smarter than me. And often way funnier! He has such a good sense of humor and LOVES interacting with us.
Have I said that before? 😉
HE LOVES TO INTERACT WITH US! Yes, us. That would be me and you and ALL OF US!
And let me tell you, it’s THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
**JUST GET CURIOUS.**
Let childlike wonder lead you and be okay with getting curious.
Notice everything and be brave enough to ask Jesus the questions.
Assume He loves to talk to you (CAUSE HE DOES!) and that you hear Him so, so well.
I have no doubt you will have such a fun time and be so happily surprised.
